How do I book?


Once you have decided on a picnic, simply fill out our booking form and we will let you know whether we have availability for the requested time. If we do, we will send you our invoice. Simply pay the deposit and your event is secured.




Can you host picnics for groups larger than 30 people?


Depending on the group size, we may be able to cater for more than 30 people. Please email us well in advance so we have time to order enough supplies for the requested number of guests. Contact




How does the picnic thing work?


We will have everything set up and ready for your arrival at your chosen time and location. We'll be there waiting with your picnic until you arrive keeping birds away or making sure nobody else decides to take it. Once you arrive we will leave you to enjoy. After you're finished relaxing, we come at the agreed time to pack up and clean everything for you! Leaving you to walk away and enjoy the rest of your day or evening!




Is it ok if I'm late?


While we're here to make your day easier and help you create beautiful memories, we ask that you respect our time and arrive at the agreed time. We may have other bookings we need to get to, and if you're late it affects our whole schedule. We also want your picnic as fresh as possible and if you arrive an hour late, we cannot guarantee the food will still be at it's best! Please let us know as soon as you know you are delayed. However, a fee will be charged if you are late because we can't leave unitl you arrive. 0-20 min no charge, 20+ min $30, 45+ min $60, At an hour we have the right to pack up the picnic without refund. Please also note that your picnic time starts from the originally agreed time whether you are late or not.




Can we leave whenever we want?


No. You are responsible for the items until we return to pack them up at the arranged time. If you would like to leave earlier than the agreed time, please provide us a 30 min notice via phone call or text.




Can we use your picnic setups for more than the set time-slot or even overnight?


Yes, we are happy to allow you to use the setting for a longer period if availability permits (e.g. if there are no other bookings the same day). We do charge a little extra of $30 for each additional hour. Different fee for overnight hire. However, this must be arranged with us in advance. Please contact us for more information. Contact




What is included in a picnic?


We currently offer packages suitable for 2-30 people. Each group setting is different, to see a full list of inclusions please visit the individual pages. Just for Two | Small Group Picnic | Large Group Picnic All of our picnics include delivery (distant locations extra), set up, styling, a grazing platter of your choice, beverage, pack up and cleaning. We have a certain decoration style for each size of picnic which can be completed with add-ons of your choice.




What if my desired location is outside the San Diego area?


It is possible to accomodate locations outside the San Diego area. We do require an additional charge depending on location to cover milage and time. Please email us for more information. Contact




Do I need a permit for my picnic?


That depends on the location, number of people, and possibly other factors. Our suggested locations do not require a permit. If you request a special spot, we'll let you know if we need a permit and will do our best to obtain it.




What about bad weather?


Unfortunately the weather is out of our control. While rare, we sometimes have to move locations or change dates due to bad weather. Our preference is to move the event inside your home. Our styled picnics will still look beautiful indoors. We will always try to accommodate last-minute location changes. We don't offer any refunds but we can reschedule your reservation date (subject to availability) one time without penalty up to 72 hours before your picnic event. Within 72 hours, there is a rescheduling fee of $20 per person. Once the picnic is set up, we cannot reschedule.




Do you have any specific styling options?


Our picnics are inspired by travel to far of places and focused on bohemian and moroccan designs. We like to be creative and will always amend the set up to your occasion and conditions depending on your chosen location. However, if you see a certain style in our gallery or on Instagram just let us know and we will accomodate to your wishes.




What are the food & beverage options?

Do you offer vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options?


Yes. If you have any dietary requirements, let us know we are more than happy to accommodate! Just make a note when completing your booking and we'll be in contact to confirm your request.




What about alcoholic beverages?


San Diego county is very strict on liquor licensing and on consuming alcohol in public areas. Unfortunately, we cannot provide alcoholic beverages.




Cancellations


Due to our high number of bookings, deposits are non-refundable as we have held your date and turned down other events to do so. We don't offer any refunds but we can reschedule your reservation date (subject to availability) one time without penalty up to 72 hours before your picnic event. Within 72 hours, there is a rescheduling fee of $20 per person. Once the picnic is set up, we cannot cancel or reschedule.




Do you have gift vouchers?

How does the payment work?


A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Until that is made, the time slot is available for anyone to book! The remaining 50% of payment is due no later than 5 days prior to your picnic event. You may also choose to pay for the picnic in one installment.




What if I spill or break something?


Small spillages (such as water or non-staining items) may not incur a fee. However you may be billed for dry cleaning costs if required. Please inform your host at the end of your picnic if there are any major spills or accidents so they can try to fix and avoid the dry cleaners or if needed replacing the item! All breakages must be paid for.
